It was as if we had just left yesterday. The food was amazing, best rotisserie chicken I have ever had. Fries were amazing and the apple sauce is to... The food was delicious, I was amazed at all the different salads in the salad bar, completely unique and delicious. The charm of this place makes it unique, the service is outstanding and personalised, food is always good, you get what you expect no surprises, both in summer or winter, inside or outside cozy and familiar. Not elegant or fancy, still highly recommendable.
BUT, the hotel is hard to find on your own and a bit out of town. Call the hotel beforehand to have someone pick you up at the train station if you're not driving. When I was there, there were no taxis and public transport does not go here.

We thought this place looked great from other tripadvisor reviews so went down for lunch. It's in the middle of no where, but not really hard to find if you look at the directions on the website. Atmosphere was rustic and nice as expected. We have visited this place many times but have not been here since moving away nine years ago. The food; especially the chicken is prepared to perfection. It was so wonderful to be able to return to the Brathaehnchen Farm after 20 years.

I had the half of chicken with fries and applesauce and it was juicy and seasoned perfectly. Food when it came out was nice, though nothing exceptional.

This place is super for a local night after long travels. The food -- fire-roasted chicken and freshly made juices, local beers, etc.. The hotel rooms are large with high ceilings, terraces and nice bedding. Expect fresh breezes, green gardens...
Best to top if off with a "Keller-Bier", There are of course other dishes, but for me it is always the house speciality. The staff is also quite friendly, and the very nice lady who owns the restaurant is there to make sure the chickens keep flying and the guests leave happy. This review encompasses two services, restaurant and hotel. I had barely gotten out of my car and was greeted by the friendliest woman I’ve ever met.
I was traveling with a service K9 and was allowed to bring the dog everywhere. I stayed one night at the hotel and was shocked at how new, modern and clean the rooms were for being in the country. Probably one of the cleanest rooms I’ve ever been in. Included with the stay was breakfast. My only critique would be, being and American I like air conditioning which they didn’t have but opening the patio door produces cool air. Overall I felt like I was at a family gathering...they make you feel very welcomed...
